2001 Year quilt

It is a calendar quilt using 3" squares. I am using a white on white for the blank spaces at the beginning and end of the month.

I have printed on white homespun blocks the calendar for the month before and the month after each month (just as they appear on many calendars) and these are sewn at the beginning or end of the month depending on where there is space.

Each month is being sashed with a 1" navy sashing and then with a ½" coloured sashing. Yellow for summer, red for autumn, icy blue for winter and green for spring.
