Please read all instructions before beginning your blocks. You may wish to use an alternative method to the one given to complete the individual blocks.

Detailed instructions are given for rotary cutting methods and machine piecing. A ¼" seam allowance is to be used throughout.

Cutting
Light ScrapsCut 108 3½" squares
Medium ScrapsCut 200 3½" squares
Cut 2 3&7/8" squares
Cut 2 3&3/8" squares
Dark ScrapsCut 100 6½" x 3½"      rectangles
Cut 2 3&3/8" squares
Cut 2 3&7/8" squares

Construction

  1. Repeat steps 1-6 of part 1 using 48 dark rectangles and 96 medium squares to construct 48 Unit H which should measure 6½" x 3½".


    Unit H

  2. Repeat steps 1-12 of part 1 using the 52 dark rectangles 104 medium squares and 104 light squares to construct 52 Unit I which should measure 6½" x 3½".


    Unit I

3.  Repeat steps 1-4 of part 3 using the medium and dark 3&7/8" squares to construct 4 medium/dark bias squares each measuring 3½" square

4.  Repeat steps 1-4 of part 3 using the medium and dark 3&3/8" squares to construct 4 medium/dark bias squares each measuring 3" square,
