| INTRODUCTION | |
I
have been creating hats since 1993 when I studied millinery at TAFE in NSW. |
|
| Facinators out of crinolene with feathers, net, and tuille, in various sizes, colours and styles are also one of my specialities. | |
| I'm Constantly
inspired to search for exciting new ways of varying my designs. My hats all have a distinct quality and are all unique, much time and effort is put into the choice of fabrics and construction methods for each individual hat. I find rare pieces of fabric and trimmings, including antique lace and Contemporary fabrics to create one off designer pieces. |

| I also provide made to order, made to measure hats of your choice, including: Hats for races, evening wear, weddings, beach wear, winter hats, and children's winter hats. | |
| I am inspired by a love of old world charm and nostalgic yesteryear. I love the charm and quality of fashion in the 20's and draw my inspiration from early 20thC fashion styles and features. e.g. hand made flower trims and ribbon work. | |
| I use a lot of natural fibres, pure cottons, linens and silk. In winter I find polar fleece to be a very wearable, washable, versatile fabric that makes up well in a wide range of styles. I use banana fibre called "sinamay", which I block into large brimmed fancy race hats or wedding hats. | |
