My name
is Jim, I am an Electrical Engineer and retired Head of Division, Electrical
and Instrument Trades, NSW TAFE. My interest in old radios stems
from my youth and although an avid collector of just about everything
my passion is old valve radios, Edison cylinder phonographs and gramophones.
I have an impressive collection accrued over many years and since my retirement
I have been feverishly busy doing what I love best. I have an excellent
knowledge of valve radio principles and also an impressive library of
early circuit diagrams enabling me to repair just about any model. If

I am also a member of the Rail Motor Society Inc, a group of enthusiasts dedicated to restoring the old diesel Rail Motors that plied the rural railways of NSW. My position in that group is Chief Electrical Fitter, Rolling Stock.
