FAMILY HISTORY GROUP

PURPOSE

The Family History Group of the Society aims to promote local family history, especially in relation to families residing or previously residing in Parramatta.

Benefits of joining the Group are :

        * have all the benefits of Society membership;

        * receive a newsletter (Parramatta Packet) (issued about 3 times per year);

        * receive an annual members interests booklet;

        * guest speakers at most meetings;

        * receive assistance and suggestions for research into your family history.

MEETINGS

The Family History Group meets at Hambledon Cottage Coachhouse, 63 Hassall Street, Parramatta on the 1st Saturday of the month commencing at 1/30pm.

Visitors are welcome.

COSTS

Membership of the Society is required for regular members of the Family History Group.
A charge of $ 2.00 is made when attending each meeting.

The Group also issues several publications :
                                    - Member's Interest Booklet                            $4.00 (including p & p)
                                    - "The Parramatta Packet" Newsletter           $12.00 (   "      ) for 3 issues per year
