When you sit in the chair where the nurses draw your blood, you can pretend that you are sitting in the Speaker's chair in the House of Representatives! Have you ever seen such wide arm rests?

The green butterfly device is used when the nurse needs to distribute the blood draw into multiple vials for analysis in the laboratory, or for more difficult veins.

The nurse will first swab the insertion point with an antiseptic patch.
