5. SINGAPURAS

We are most fortunate to have acquired some beautiful Singapuras; to help establish the breed,
which is still new to Australia. They are based in Sydney.
Thanks especially goes to Debbie van den Berg in Wales
for her assistance in selecting our Singapura lines.

Contrary to what we are told about Singapuras,
our Singapuras breed easily, have large litters and rear them well.

ABOVE - Singingpurrs Jumpnjlybean [Beanie], arrived from Wales in 2002.
[Special thanks to Debbie van den Berg for this lovely boy.
He has been an enormous asset to setting type in our breeding].

Beanie shown above in mid-2003, now in early maturity -
an excellent head study of him.

BREEDING STOCK

MALES
Singingpurrs Jumpnjlybean [Imp.Wales]
sire - CFA Ch.Usaf's Jumpin' Jehosaphat and
dam - Singingpurrs Sindy Loudpur

Beanie as just a baby.

Mother (Loudpur) and child in Wales.

An excellent overall shot of Beanie,
though his head and ears
are even better in reality.

Beanie's classic profile
in early maturity.

ABOVE - Beanie, above, has stamped his type in his kittens,
giving us the characteristic look of the Singapura many times over.
We have leapt forward in conformation, correct sepia coats,
eye colour and above all, temperament, with his line.

Gd.Ch.Dynastithai Peter Pan of Sirach (Imp.France)
sire - Ch.Seilkies Mod of Dynastithai and
dam - Int.Ch.Tica Gd.Ch. Jusiful Vonji of Dynsastithai (USA)

Peter shown above, with his strong head and body.
He throws these qualities into his kittens, so is a vital part of the programme
and gives a great boost to Singapuras in this country.

Ch.Sirach Adri
sire - Usaf's The Flying Dutchman of Sirach (Imp.USA) and
dam - Brnz.Dbl.Gd.Ch.Sirach Tamsin.

ABOVE - Ch.Sirach Adri, shown here at 3 mths,

This very stylish male has sired countless excellent kittens
in our exciting programme in Singapuras in Australia.

but always watch your back!"

2. A rare restful moment -
away from the children."

3. "Wimp! Trust you to hide
behind me while I check it out."

4. "This is my innocent, wide-eyed
look. Is it working?"

5. "Is this OK?
Human's think it's cute."

6. "You pretend to be interested
while I get ready to jump."

7. "Make it quick, sport.
I'm going."

8. "Bookends.
Perfect!"

9. "It's not easy to be at your best
after such an intensive photo shoot."

2003 KITTENS - AT WORK

1. "Curious no matter what!,
Clear stomachs, at least."

2." Are you serious?
You want us to look when we're eating?."

3. "I'm really a nice kitten.
I just don't want to sit for you!"

2004 KITTENS

[Most of our young stock has better and more balanced type than shown. If you ever have a Singapura,
you will know they are photographed either being held, on the run or about to run.]

1. Our Singapura kittens are
nicknamed "little heathens"
for good reason -
they are never still.

2.Photographing them is an
almost impossible task.

3. Bad shot of a very typey,
but impatient older kitten.

4. The clear chest and neck is
ably visible in this rare piece
of co-operation.

5.One kitten might look,
but two probably won't.

6. Body balance is shown as this
older kitten stands ready.

7. Always curious and on the move!

8. Beanie, showing his
heavy head type.

9. Excellent head shot of
Ch.Ithaca Ahmoun Accolade (M).

OUR SINGAPURAS AT SHOWS:

We consistently have major success at shows,
in NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

AT THE CCCA NATIONAL SHOW IN MELBOURNE ON 20-21/7/2002,
2 of our Singapuras, now owned by William van Hoboken,
each won BEST G3 KITTEN in 1 ring
and our stock has improved even further since then.
[Photos below of the 2 kittens].
