A young boy and a writer who meet on a cruise liner; witness from the ocean depths, one of Guillotine's monsters. The boy and writer jump over board before the ship is destroyed. They wash up on a remote island, where they are captured and taken prisoners. While escaping they find a 100 foot tall robot. The robot just finished now only needs atomic power to activate his brain and a voice pattern to command it. Whoever talks first into the miniature transmitter in the form of a watch will control the Giant Robot.
