(1984)

Kamen (masked) Riders are "kaizo ningen" (reconstructed humans or cyborgs) who take on some form of insect characteristics. They battle evil kaizo ningen. An airplane piloted by Ryou Murasama and carrying his sister is shot down by UFOs. They survive, but are captured by the terrorist orginization the Baban Empire. Ryou Murasama's sister is killed, and he is transformed into the cyborg warrior ZX. The Badan Empire erased Ryou Murasama's memory but an accident causes him to recover. He escapes from Badan and vows revenge against them. When ZX meets the Kamen Riders he at first thinks they are his enemies.
