SPIDER-MAN:
THE DRAGON'S CHALLENGE

After taking a serum, a young man finds that he has spider like abilities. In this adventure, Spider-man helps a Chinese diplomat charged with spying. This telemovie has been complied from a double episode of "The Amazing Spider-man" series - "The Chinese Web".

Prior to the series there was a pilot: "Spiderman", in which Spider-man battles a cult leader who is able to direct people through mind control, to rob banks.

Eight (8) episodes of the series were released on a four volume set (two episodes per video) under the name "The Live-Action Adventures of Spider-Man": being Volume 1 "Photo Finish and A Matter of State", Volume 2 "Night of the Clones and Escort to Danger", Volume 3 "The Con Caper and The Curse of Rava", Volume 4 "Wolfpack and The Kirkwood Haunting".

In addition to this telemovie, there was an early telemovie: "Spider-man Strikes Back" was compiled from a double episode of the Amazing Spider-man series - "The Deadly Dust". It was also released to video under the "The Deadly Dust" name.
