For his Architectural Practice Nick has a Vision Statement
Let him speak for himself:
Larger Design Projects included
major buildings in the Melbourne CBD such as CRA
(left) and Legal and General, and Adelaide
CBDs and in St.Kilda Road (right), and the
fitout for the headoffice of a major Australian bank.
Smaller Projects included
a school camp building,
a regional library (left),
a small suburban hospital, an X-ray and Pathology Clinic, on the
Mornington Peninsula a small regional shopping
centre (left), and a Bank in Collingwood
(right). For the latter project I used prestressed brick panels
to shade the building from the Western exposure of the sun, and to "fit-in"
with the serrated streetscape created by old chimneys in the area.
In my own practice I have had a variety
of projects including residences,
a complex of twelve factories
in Tullamarine (left), a fitout for a commercial
television producer in Port Melbourne, a complete private
Primary and Secondary School (right)
for 600 students with funding from the Federal Government. This school was constructed on a disused tip site,
and considerable research and innovative
provisions were required to deal with the continuing formation of methane
gas. This knowledge has since been used for other projects.
Urban Design analyses were part of some of the major projects in which I was involved.
Professional Services by me are on a personalised basis, and I can
form a team through strategic alliances I have formed with other Architects
and consultants for various specialised fields.
I invite you to discuss your development ideas with me. I am very interested to be involved in your future projects.
