The Club is based in Newcastle and includes members from all over the Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie regions.
There is a fair mix of vehicles ranging from early fifties Fords to seventies Yank Tanks, Corvette Stingrays and a good choice of Mustangs.
We meet for a club run on the Saturday night of a full moon and proceed to a favourite burger joint or maybe a novelty cruise.
So if you're into American Cars and have a penchant for cruisin', the American Cruisin' Car Club Inc. is for you.

Membership
Membership
of the association shall be open to all owners and admirers of all American
Automobiles, including motor cars , trucks and commercial vehicles their wives,
girlfriends and family.
General
To
provide an association of American Automobiles owners and admirers that is in
no way demanding of its members.
To provide access to the permit scheme ( club registration ) for American automobiles , both left and right hand drive.
To provide social contact via a central mailing address.
To receive information and advise on all matters pertaining to the restoration and use of American Automobiles, including runs, shows, etc.
To process this information , as well as any other relevant material , into a monthly advise sheet / newsletter, to be distributed amongst its members.
1b There shall be two types of membership. Full member . Associate Member.
1c A full member must own a registered American Automobile as per clause 2a
1d Must be a financial member of the association .
1e A full member is entitled to vote on all matters relating to the constitution.
Stand for ,and vote for executive positions.
Wear and display all association logo's artwork and memorabilia.
1f A full members partner is entitled to the same benefits and recognition as a full member.
1g A full member who is without an eligible vehicle as per clause 2a for a period longer than 6 months shall revert to the status of associate member. Full membership will automatically be regained on procession of an eligible vehicle as per clause 2a.
1h An associate member is an admirer of American Automobiles who does not currently own a registered vehicle eligible as per clause 2a and who wishes to be involved in association activities. An association member can be involved in all association activities of a social nature, including organising and voting on social matters.An associate member cannot vote on matters that relate to the constitution or the election of executive positions. An associate member cannot vote on matters that relate to the constitution or the election of executive positions.An associate member cannot stand for election to executive positions.
1i An associate member must be a financial member of the association .
1j All membership applications shall be as per the associations membership application form.
This covers generally the associations rules on membership further details relating to membership are per the model rules for Incorporated groups. American Cruisin ' inc. Constitution then in relation to membership is the model rules from the Dept. of Fair Trading ( covers all clubs in Aust) plus the above which is an annexure to cover our specific association.
Vehicles
2a
Acceptable eligible vehicles are any American Automobile manufactured in the
USA. Any vehicle of American origin manufactured or assembled in another country.
2b
Excluded from eligibility are Australian built vehicles with an American parent
company that where built expressly for the Australian market such as Ford Falcon,
Chrysler Valiant and Holden .
2c This final determination of any particular vehicle for eligibility as per clause 2a shall be at the discretion of the executive committee.
