A Brief History of the Universe
 
 

In the year 1130 of the Third Empire of man, the great computer "Virus" was unleashed, rapidly ending the dominance of man, and reeking havoc and destruction across all of known space. Ninety years later, just as the human race was undoing the effects caused by the "Virus", the Empress Wave swept across known space. This was ten thousand years ago. Not much is known of what happened after that. (Much of what happened before that has been lost)  All that is known that it was a time of chaos. On many worlds billions of sentient creatures died. There are many myths that have been handed down from this time.
