Chris
Dent is an established, professional artist experienced in book illustration,
cartooning, caricature, t-shirt design and advertising art. His work
is well known to Queensland primary school students for the cartoon
illustrations in the 'Letters and Sounds', 'Sound Waves' and 'Jigsaw
Maths' series of text books. Secondary students would be familiar
with the 'Scienceworld' cartoons and illustrations.
Chris
has devised a series of activities to introduce students to basic
methods and techniques which form an essential foundation for making
art.
