BRIEF SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
My system starts with a PIONEER ODR RS-D2 CD and PIONEER ODR RS-M1 12 Disc Stacker feeding fibre optically straight into DEQ30 Digital Equaliser, which allows me to do very precise EQ adjustments at any frequency point I need, while still in the Digital domain, from there the signal is sent fibre optically into the APOGEE DA-1000E. This method of using a Digital light signal via fibre optic cable means electrical noise can not effect the signal. The digital signal is converted into an analogue signal via Apogee DAC and then fed into MVC. From the MVC the signal travels to the 2 PG ZEROpoint amps. Starting from the bottom up, the 600Watt Phoenix Gold ZPA.03 drives two 12" XMAX subwoofers in a sealed box at a 2 W mono load with a 24 db lowpass crossover set at 50hz. I then use a Phoenix Gold ZPA.05 to drive Dynaudio system 360 from 50Hz and up. I am not using any rear fill. This system is still under construction.
