Royal Sacred Siamese Cat Club Inc. has been in existence since August,1962 and
we held our first show on 24th November of the same year.
We have been a Feline Control Council of Victoria Inc. affiliated club since
our inception and we are a specialised Group 2 Club. Our aim is to
work towards the betterment and responsible ownership, breeding and exhibition of the
Siamese, Oriental, Foreign White and Balinese Cat.
Membership is mainly made up of Group 2 FCCV cat owners but we also have many
members who own
almost every other breed of cat as well.
Our listing in the Yellow Pages
has proved to be an excellent source of advice and assistance to our Members as well as the General Public
seeking to purchase kittens and who need general advice on an endless number of
subjects pertaining to their cats. We endeavour to help our members with the sale of their kittens
and we have a listing of available kittens at all times.
SATURDAY 14th June,
2008 we are pleased to announce that our Club will be presenting a
Specialist Group 2 & 4 Championship Show. We have been
given permission to hold this show as OPEN to Governing Council
of the Cat Fancy Victoria Inc. and The Cat Association of Victoria Inc. Our
three judges have all specialised in breeding Group 2 cats and we look forward
to the support needed to make this show worthwhile.
During 2005 we were extremely proud to make two very generous donations. Firstly to the WINN FOUNDATION USA
to assist in the research of Mammary Cancer of the Siamese Cat and secondly to the CAT PROTECTION SOCIETY OF VICTORIA
which will be used to help build a pedigreed section in the new facility they are developing.
In 2007 the decision was also made to make a
worthwhile donation to aid the Sumatran Tiger in Indonesia. This wonderful
animal is facing critical endangerment and every year the numbers are
deminishing. Melbourne Zoo and the Western Plains Zoo are both working to
help save the Sumatran Tiger and their efforts are being rewarded with cubs born
during the past 8 months. Our 2008 show will be in support of these tigers

BENEFICIAL FOR BREEDERS WITH YOUNG KITTENS AND OLDER CATS AND,
AS THEY ARE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED, THEY CAN
BE USED IN THE SUMMER MONTHS AS WELL AS IN THE WINTER WITH NEW LITTERS. WE HAVE ALSO DISCOVERED THAT OWNERS OF SMALL BREEDING DOGS USE THEM WITH THEIR PUPPIES AS WELL. |
