High Efficiency, Quality, and Performance - The Power of Choice Yorkville's continuing research in new high efficiency designs sets new standards for quality, reliability and performance in sound reinforcement. AUDIOPRO amplifiers deliver more power and weigh less, thus representing a significant advance in analog power amplifier design.  MOSFET's are where they should be - in the driver stage. Their immunity from secondary breakdown lets them reliabley drive bi-polar output devices. A toroidal transformer reduces weight while minimizing hum and noise. High efficiency power conversion approaches levels normally associated with switching power conversion, but provides the superoir transient response and low distortion of the best analog designs.  All AUDIOPRO amplifiers undergo a thorough computer-monitored, temperature-cycled, burn-in period to test for any deviation from design parameters. The designs, while unique, are conservative with regard to the power handling capabilities of the output devices. The computer optimized heat dissipation system ensures that excessive thermal stress will not occur.

AP-1200 POWER AMPLIFIER

Unique 2 or 4 ohm optimum load operation gives the AP-1200 amp flexible output power as required. A simple user definable configuration allows it to deliver 600 Watts per channel continuous average into either 2 or 4 ohms. The switchable limiter prevents audible clipping while maintaining full output.

AP-3000 & AP-3400 POWER AMPLIFIERS

The powerful AUDIOPRO AP-3000 and AP-3400 each weigh less than just 40 lbs. and occupy only two rack spaces. They deliver 1200 Watts per channel (AP-3000 @ 2 ohms, AP-3400 @ 4 ohms). Choose the AP-3000 or AP-3400 for the headroom you need to reproduce the demanding dynamics of todays music.

STANDARD FEATURES

• A specially designed, switchable subsonic filter boosts the "bottom end" 3.6 dB by transfering wasted energy from below 30 Hz to between 35 and 70 Hz.
• The quiet, variable speed fan assures a consistent operating temperature by drawing cool air in from the side and forcing it out the back.
• AUDIOPRO amplifiers feature full DC, load and thermal protection.
• The front panel AC switch also serves as a circuit breaker.
