Our farm is situated at Lancefield, in the central region of Victoria, Australia. We are slightly South of the Great Dividing Range, approximately 60km from the city of Melbourne.

Our prime lambs are a cross between a First Cross Ewe (Merino x Border Leicester) and a Southdown Ram. This results in a hearty, quick maturing lamb that can be sold for slaughter within 4 to 5 months of birth. The Southdown cross lamb is one of the main breeds in the area, along with Dorset cross.

We sell live lamb on the domestic market, generally through saleyards or direct to the abbatoirs. This means we can concentrate on producing lambs of a high standard that suit the local demand. Our lambs are generally ready for sale between November and January and are sold as trade lambs, with a Fat Score of approximately 3.

As the customer looks towards a product that can be guarenteed of quality, we have identified the need to be able to provide high quality, consistent lambs that the consumer can rely upon. As a means of certifying our product, we have entered the Flockcare program, whereby our lambs can be produced and sold as a quality assured product, in accordance with ISO 9002 standards.
