CHORES.EXE - the CHORES program file
CHORES.INI - CHORES information and help file combined.
- Copy CHORES.EXE to a suitable directory (eg C:\utils) and CHORES.INI to the location from where it will be called.
(eg C:\ if you will be calling it from AUTOEXEC.BAT.)- Place a line similar to the following early in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file
where C:\XXX is the directory you copied CHORES.EXE to.
- C:\XXXX\Chores.exe
- Open CHORES.INI in a text editor such as NOTEPAD or HABEdit and read carefully the comment lines (those commencing with ').
- Modify the data lines (those without ') so that all DOS programs that you wish to run on a regular basis are listed.
< (Make sure to delete any references to programs that you do not have installed or do not wish to run.) .

- Delete the CHORES.EXE and CHORES.INI files.
< - Edit your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to remove the reference to CHORES.
Check the Chores Ini Page or use a text editor to read the CHORES.INI file.
