Karaoke Manager at Work
When Karaoke Manager starts, it loads into memory the last database (list of songs) used.
Program settings are saved when Karaoke Manager closes and loaded again when you re-start it.
Karaoke Manager uses a unique database format that other database programs cannot read.
All database operations are performed in memory and not saved until
a Save command is issued.

Karaoke Manager recognizes the following song-file types:
Karaoke midi with the .kar extension.
Star Data midi with the .st3 extension.
Ordinary MIDI (with and without lyrics) with the extensions .mi, .mid, .midi and .rmi.
Layer 3 MPEG with the .mp3 extension.
Windows Media Audio with the .wma extension.
Karaoke Fun karaoke files with the .kfn extension.
Miscellaneous MPEG files with the .mpg and .mpeg extensions (partial support only).
For each of the file-types listed above, apart from the miscellaneous MPEG files, Karaoke Manager can import song details automatically, either by the individual file or by scanning the computer's drives for files of the selected type(s).
