Links to sites to do with Warhammer
Archive Skaven
Archive Pestilen
Skaven (of course) pages, amongst other stuff, by the prolific Tommy Punk. And when I say prolific,
I mean just that. The silly bugger just doesn't know when to stop...
Mansfield wargames club home
A wargames club (no, really?) from England
Arek Storm's home page
Otherwise known as Rand, benevolent dictator for life of the Direwolf Warhammer Mailing list on egroups.com.
By public approval, of course...
Michael Andresen's page
No idea. It's in Danish (I think...). But the name suggests Orcs and Goblins
Ilkka Manner's page
Orcs and Goblins again, this time by a mad Finn (see, Tuomas isn't the only one... :)
Dario "Squamosus Dux" Genova's page
Self-appointed Tilean Ambassador. Lizards.
Tony Scott's page
Including Longsword's Tactica, by Tuomas Pirinen. The classic and massive work which got him into the design studio. Also Kislevite stuff.
Xhilipepa's page
General Warhammer stuff, plus a role-playing system
Amasarac's page
Slaaneshi chaos by a New Zealander. You HAVE been warned...
James Guidotti's page
An Australian who plays Undead.
All of the owners of the pages above can be found defiling:

Just happens to be Bob Lipmann's new site...
Should you want to be on the mailing list, send this email:
to: direwolf_wh-subscribe@egroups.com
with no subject or body
Use your real email address (because you are talking to a programme, not a person), and follow the instructions you receive.
This mailing list produces over 300Kb, and well over 150 emails, each day, so be prepared for inundation.
There is a digest mode, which you can set by going to www.egroups.com/list/direwolf_wh
and logging in after setting your password. To set your password, just click on 'forgot it?', enter your email address and new password,
and reply to the email you get. You will have to set your browser to at least accept cookies which are returned only to the sending machine.
Not good, I know, but once you've set your preferences then you will never have to return to egroups' web page, and can delete the damned
cookie. Unless you for some unknown reason choose to browse 300+ Kb of email on the web...
There is a second digest mode. The Egroups digest comes as a single huge file each day. You can, if you like, get the same emails in
several files of 80 Kb by doing this: at egroups, set your preferences to Read on the Web, so that nothing gets emailed to you directly from
there. Then send this
To: majordomo@starway.net.au
Subject: none
Body: subscribe warhammerfb-digest
You will then receive the smaller digests instead. Just do not post to the Starway server.

The old mailing list, on direwolf.com, is dead. It was killed by a series of extremeley vicious, petty, and childish flame wars.
It is expected that such things will NOT be tolerated on the new list, nor will they be allowed to even start. Toleration, whilst all
very well, can be taken too far. If you have an attitude problem, go elsewhere. You will not be welcome here, nor will you last long.

The Warhammer newsgroup - rec.games.miniatures.warhammer
However, be aware that this newsgroup, whilst once useful, has degenerated into a private playground for various morons who have
nothing better to do all day than use the internet to insult and attack each other and anyone who tries to contribute to the original
purpose of the newsgroup. Signal to noise ratio is about 1:100 - it is no longer worth the effort. Unfortunately it is not
possible to do anything about this without setting up a new, and preferably severely moderated, newsgroup. You have been warned.
"http://members.tripod.com/~OWG/forgotten.html" - The forgotten races and weaponry of Warhammer
A page of the old regiments of reknown, with machineries of destruction, zoats, fimir, and Mighty Empires.
The rest of the site's not bad either, this is just the bit I liked the most.
This damned good site has gone missing. If anyone can tell me where I might find it these days, I will be most grateful.
Strategic Headquarters. The homepage of Bob Lippman.
Bob is a skilled sculptor, and has some useful articles here. He used to be on the mailing list until Real Life (TM) unfortunately intervened (ain't life a bugger...?).
