BLANDFORDIA (FORREST) 1928
This suburb was "the better part of town". Sixteen small brick cottages were erected in 1923 to accommodate sixteen married officials. From 1926 these were added to and their numbers included 50 concrete cottages built by the Monolyte Company. A number of houses were built privately.
GOOD SAMARITAN CONVENT, 1928
St Christopher’s Convent School built next to the convent opened in February 1928. It was co-educational and the building was used as a church until St Christopher’s Cathedral was constructed.
