RUSSELL HILL SETTLEMENT, 1935

Russell Hill Settlement was established in 1926. A school was opened that year and was closed in 1929 following the departure of many of the tenants. The school building was moved in the 1930/31 financial year to Corroboree Park where it remains today as the Ainslie Hall. The settlement remained until the late 1950s.
