Bombala
Bombala is the southerly most town along the Monaro Highway, situated on
the Bombala River in a small, but scenic valley, albeit part of the Monaro
plateau. The town is a centre for the local farming and timber industries
and the Bombala River is known for its abundance of platypuses and good
trout fishing.
