Coolah is a small town nestled in a long, narrow valley in the southern Warrambungle Ranges - it is a centre for local produce and a welcome stop for travellers coming from the north. In the area is Coolah Tops Nat Pk to the east - the town itself is nothing special - if the road from Gunnedah to Mudgee was promoted better, it may attract more traffic and therefore interest.
