Dunedoo is a small railway town located on the junction of the Castlereagh and Golden Highways, 90km east of Dubbo. The town is set in the foothills of a small mountain to the east, surrounded by local wheat and sheep farming pastures. The main street is typical of most rail towns - main street parallel to the rail line and adjacent to the silos - in this case was actually aesthetically pleasing which was a nice change.
