Gulgong

Gulgong is located in central west NSW, 25km north of Mudgee on the Castlereagh Highway. The town originally began due to the gold rush of the 1870's but is now a service town for the local canola and sheep farming industries. The town's narrow streets still show signs of the original buildings which fronted the main street and make it interesting, yet awkward to drive through especially on a busy Saturday morning.
