Holbrook lies on the Hume Highway between Gundagai and Albury and like Albury, is one of the few remaining towns yet to be bypassed by the ever freeway converted Hume Highway. However, it does in essence force motorists to slow down and get caught by the local police. :-) There is also the large HMAS Otway Submarine and sub missile that cannot be missed as you enter the town from the north.
