Illawarra Highway 
The Illawarra Highway is a short route linking the Hume Highway near Mittagong, through the Southern Highlands into Wollongong once descending from the Great Dividing Range.

Start: Hume Highway (6km west of Sutton Forest )
Principal Towns: Moss Vale, Robertson, Wollongong
Finish: Albion Park Rail (southern suburb of Wollongong)
Length: 60km
Road Standard: All bitumen, excellent standard.
Road Quality: Many overtaking lanes while on the Southern Highlands - road is very narrow through the Macquarie Pass.
Speed Limit (outside built up areas): 100km/hr (60km/hr through Macquarie Pass)
