Kingscliff, a popular coastal town in northern New South Wales, is located 13km south of Tweed Heads and just off the Pacific Highway. Once a small seaside town, Kingscliff has grown rapidly in recent years due to the expansion of the Gold Coast to the north and as a result of the popularity of the long stretches of beaches that lie to the south. The town centre is built around the coastal strip, offers good shopping and various outdoor eateries along the esplanade complimented by various foreshore parks. Also nearby is the Cudgen Creek waterway, popular for fishing and boating activities with Murwillumbah and the lush hinterland a short drive inland.
