Monaro Highway 

The Monaro Highway starts in Canberra and heads due south, passing to the east of the Brindabella Range and through the Monaro Plains. At Cooma the highway is joined with the Snowy Mountains Hwy until 10km south of Nimmitabel. From that intersection, the road heads south again to Bombala and after declining into the Cann Valley, the road enters Victoria.

Road Standard: All bitumen, Occasional overtaking lanes north of Nimmitabel only
