Narrandera is another central N.S.W. town that lies on the Newell and Sturt Highways as well as being on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Being part of the Riverina district, its main industries are crop producing in the irrigated Hay Plains.  Like Hay, Narrandera is another excellent stopping point for motorists travelling north-south and east-west being in remote conditions and provides all amenities for the tourist.
