Nowra

Nowra is the commercial and administrative centre for the Shoalhaven Region, part of NSW's south coast. The city has an excellent town centre as well as many parks alongside the Shoalhaven River. The green and picturesque foothills setting sustains the local dairy and paper industries as well as a number of State Forests. To the north is Mt Cambewarra which contains an superb lookout and the twin coastal towns of Culburra and Shoalhaven Heads are a short distance to the east. Nearby Kangaroo Valley is a short drive from Nowra and the drive through the mountains is certainly worth it.
