A smaller river town, Tooleybuc is the most attractive town between Adelaide and Wagga Wagga (if heading to Sydney). Unfortunately, this says a lot for the towns either side of the journey. Nevertheless, if it wasn't for the Murray River running adjacent to the town, it would not exist. It lies where the Mallee Highway crosses the river, and the old one-way timber bridges across are always amusing to travel over. The pub as soon as you cross the river is quite cool - worth a visit, photo or drive by for those who don't care :-)
