Yass

Yass is an attractive town 3 hours from Sydney that is now bypassed by the Hume Freeway. Yass is a farming centre for mainly wool and canola crops, as well as being close to the Murrumbateman wineries. Lake Burrinjuck lies to the south-west of the town and is a popular water sport and picnicking area. It is also the major entry point for traffic entering to Canberra from the north and west.
