Bargara

Bargara is a small town located on the coast, just east of Bundaberg. The town has been a popular fishing and swimming destination since the 1920's and has grown quickly in the last 10 years with the stretch of Bargara Beach now lined with several modern holiday homes and units. Despite the influx of people in recent times, the town still remains quiet and has not had the commercial injection to the degree of Yeppoon or Hervey Bay. To the west is Hummock Hill where views over Bundaberg, Bargara, Elliott Heads and the surrounding vast fields of sugar cane can be gained.
