Cooroy

Cooroy, located just off the Bruce Highway lies about 20km inland from the popular Noosa Heads and at the foothills of Black Mountain. The town, settled in the 1890's is primarily a timber and dairying town however in recent times has become popular for residents escaping the rapidly developing Sunshine Coast for a quieter lifestyle. The town was built around the North Coast railway and uniquely has two town centres due to the sole railway crossing.
