Eidsvold

Eidsvold is a small town, located between Gayndah and Biloela on the Burnett Highway. Although a prosperous gold mining town in the late 1880's, operations dwindled after about 15 years and has since become the centre for the surrounding maize crop and cattle industries. Set in a small valley, the town is quite attractive with a somewhat substantial shopping precinct for a town of its size.
