Eumundi

Eumundi, a small historic town nestled in the northern Sunshine Coast hinterland, lies just off the Bruce Hwy between Nambour and Cooroy and at the base of Mt Eerwah. Setup originally as a sugar town, Eumundi is nowadays known for the popular markets that are held each Saturday and Wednesday. The markets are held in the main street, which itself is a standout feature being lined with several historic buildings (notably the Eumundi Hotel), art galleries & museums, cafes and giant fig trees.
