Milmerran is a small town located in the southern Darling Downs and on the Gore Highway, between Goondiwindi and Toowoomba. It was originally part of the vast Yandilla Station until a Crown grant was released, of which the subsequent owner opened a general store which the town slowly grew around. While an important stop on the busy Gore Highway, it is also the centre for the local fruit, wheat, dairying and corn industries.
