Mundubbera

Mundubbera, located on the Burnett Hwy between Biloela and Gayndah and lies near the key geographical position where the Burnett, South Boyne and Auburn Rivers join. Originally a centre for the local beef industry after being surveyed in the early 1860's, significant irrigation from the nearby rivers has led to the town being labelled the Fruit Bowl of the Burnett due to the series of stone and citrus orchards planted in the surrounding region. In town is the Big Mandarin (tribute to the local fruit industry), Bicentennial Park (against the Burnett River) and Jones Weir.
