Noosa Heads

Noosa Heads, one of the premier attractions of the Sunshine Coast is set at the north-eastern tip of the popular coastal strip and at the mouth of the Noosa River. Set at the base of Noosa Hill, the town is well known for its safe swimming & surf beaches as well as the Noosa National Park which largely protects the prominent headland and surrounding coastline. The town is home to several resorts, has an impressive shopping precinct along the shady Hastings Street and provides excellent tourist facilities with a large range of accommodation. Also nearby are Laguna Lookout (1km east), Noosa River cruises, Noosa Marina (6km west), Sunshine Beach (4km south-east) and Lake Weyba (5km south). Certainly a recommended holiday destination.
