Pentland

Pentland is a small service centre on the Flinders Highway between Charters Towers and Hughenden and lies on the outskirts of the White Mountains National Park. The town is the first of any significance motorists arrive to when heading east along the Flinders Highway as it enters the Great Dividing Range. The town offers a small range of services and provides a good place to rest being more than 100km from adjoining major centres.
