Wallangarra

Wallangarra, a small town located at the QLD/NSW border on the New England Highway was established in late 1800's as a railway service town. With little services for tourists due to the nearby Tenterfield and Stanthorpe providing the main centres for the local cattle and sheep industries, attention is drawn to the upgraded Wallangarra Railway Station and to the imaginative border signs and information bay.
