North of Orroroo, the countryside becomes drier as you enter the southern Flinders Ranges, passing through through Carrieton and along some newly sealed sections until it terminates at the B83, just south of the Flinders Ranges hub town of Hawker.

Heading north on the B80 at the B56 junction at Black Rock. Strange why Quorn gets a mention on the sign as it isnt part of the B80 or the B56 (2003).
The B80, heading north from Orroroo. Interesting that Parachilna gets a guernsey here instead of Leigh Creek (2003).
