Heywood

Heywood lies in the far south western corner of Victoria at the junction of the Henty and Princes Highway, and also adjacent to the Fitzroy River. The highway passing through has an extremely wide and quite picturesque main street, and the town is set on a plain at the foothills of a small mountain range to the north. In the area is Portland to the south - Victoria's oldest deep sea port and to the west, Lower Glenelg National Park - holds many great camping and fishing spots on the Glenelg River.
