Horsham

Horsham is Victoria's largest western town/city and is known as the capital of the Wimmera district. The city lies on the crossroads of the Western, Henty and Wimmera Highways as well as being on the banks of the Wimmera River. It is also a good base location for exploring the Grampians to the south. The city is very well looked after - includes interesting entrances on the Western Highway from both directions as well a wide, open main street with a few heritage listed buildings. In the area are Horsham Botanic Gardens, the Do See View Farm (historic, nostalgic farm), Little Desert National Park to the north-west and Australia's Pure Olive Oil Company.
