Nhill is located in far western Victoria, half way between Adelaide and Melbourne on the Western Highway. The town mainly serves as a farming centre but also has many nearby national and state parks in close proximity. It also claims to have the largest single bin wheat silo. While being in a semi-arid environment, Nhill's main street and entrance to the town are pleasing to the eye. The movie "The Road To Nhill" was also filmed in the town.
