Robinvale, a moderate sized town in the eastern Sunraysia region of north-western Victoria is located on the Murray Valley Highway and is almost totally encircled by the Murray River. The town was settled in the early 1910's but did not grow until after WW2 when the surrounding land was opened up for soldier settlements. The town is now the centre for the local citrus, wine, olives & dried fruit industries and has a reasonable shopping precinct due to it being fairly remote. In the area are McWilliams Winery (wine tasting daily), Lock 15 & surrounding parkland and the Euston Weir.
