Tidal River

Tidal River is one of Victoria's most southerly towns (if it can be called a town) located on the Wilsons Promitory peninsula. Tidal River consists mainly of a caravan and camping ground with a kiosk and the headquarters of Wilsons Promitory National Park. The scenery in the area is almost unbeatable. Great mountain peaks covered in thick vegetation, meeting the ocean; several uninhabitated islands off the coast; safe swimming and surfing beaches; various self guided walks with the standout being the walk to the summit of Mt Oberon which gives a breathtaking view from all angles.
